You are invited to come spend a few hours with international bass legend Bubby Lewis, an amazing bassist and teacher who has played with Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Stevie Wonder, Lupe Fiasco, Jhené Aiko, and many others. Bubby will share some of his wisdom, techniques, and stories about bass and music first, always with a bass in his hands, and then he’ll invite bassists of all levels (and even other instrumentalists – Bubby is looking forward to working with drummers, guitarists, singers, and pianists too!) to come up from the audience to play with and learn from him. Don’t be nervous – he’s a great teacher, and you’re guaranteed to come away with new inspiration! And even if you don’t come up for some individual time, you can learn a lot by watching others. The masterclass will be followed by a jam session, too, which is sure to be amazing!
